Five Weeks to a New You
Give Yourself a Makeover By Teri Brown
Week ThreeConcentrate on stress relief this week. As you stay committed to your daily exercise and nutrition goals, take an Epsom salts bath. Add 2 cups of Epsom salts to a hot bath and soak for about 20 minutes. Crawl into sweats when you are done and relax. Epsom salt baths are reported to have detoxifying effects and are very relaxing. Week FourContinue with your daily makeover activities. Shake up your exercise routine a bit this week. Try adding five minutes to your routine. If you are walking every day, go for a bike ride instead. Hire a personal trainer for a session to see how you are doing and to get some new ideas. Get a video from the library. Workout magazines are also a good place to get ideas and motivation! The idea is to try something new so you won't get bored. Week FiveDo your daily routine every day. This is a time to celebrate by doing something a bit different. Get a manicure or a pedicure. Better yet, further increase the changes in your looks and life by getting a new haircut or adding some highlights. Go have a makeup makeover at the cosmetic counter at the mall. If you are feeling daring, do all of the above!
The makeover doesn't have to stop here. All of the changes you have made can be daily habits if you keep doing them. You are worth treating with such tender loving care, and your entire life will reflect that attitude. You can make over your life!
