According to Entertainment Weekly, Ana Gasteyer – the first Saturday Night Live (SNL) cast member to perform while pregnant – is leaving the show to focus on motherhood and a stage career.

Gasteyer, 35, was on SNL for six years and is best known for her impressions of Martha Stewart and Celine Dion. She has also appeared in a revival of ''The Rocky Horror Show'' on Broadway and in ''The Vagina Monologues.''

Gasteyer gave birth to daughter, Frances, in June.

''Saturday Night Live was the ultimate laboratory for honing my versatility as a performer. As much as I will miss my enormously-talented colleagues, I am looking forward to taking on new artistic challenges outside the realm of sketch comedy,'' said Gasteyer in a statement.
