My 10-month-old is allergic milk, casein, egg white, whole egg and peanuts. Can you recommend any cookbooks?
I realize that it is a challenge to find safe, healthy and desirable foods for your child to eat when multiple food allergies are at play. I would recommend two cookbooks to start that are very well done. One is Special Diet Solutions by Carol Fenster, Ph.D. and Special Foods for Special Kids by Todd Adelman and Jodi Behrend. Both these books are available at Miss Roben's online. Miss Roben's began over 10 years ago serving those with food allergies by providing prepackaged products, mixes and recipes. Their tech support staff are extremely helpful in assisting shoppers with selecting safe products given their particular concerns. Their tech support staff also provides free baking substitutions or help in modifying a recipe. You may reach them at www.missroben's.com or at 1-800-891-0083."
