What is prosciutto?
Prosciutto is an Italian-style ham. It is fatty and salty, but very delicious. It is usually eaten as a cold cut in a sandwich or can be used uncooked or in a pasta dish with fresh garlic and olive oil. It also can be used to stuff vinegar or hot cherry peppers along with pieces of provolone as a cold appetizer. Lastly, it can be used draped over melon slices for an appetizer. It is always used in antipasto. Enjoy!"
