Are lemons safe to eat during pregnancy?
While grape juice and other grape products have been shown to help decrease the stickiness of platelets, which influences atherosclerosis, there is no reference to lemon juice having the same effect in a search of the medical literature.
Remember, anything in moderation is fine. But if you eat too much of anything, it could be taking the place of other nutritious foods that you also need. Lemons are actually a great source of vitamin C and reported to help with morning sickness. It's also a great way to flavor your food with a fruit!"
