Linda Given-Welch, CNM

Linda Given Welch Certified Nurse Midwife Women's Health Specialists, Chicago

"I have been involved in the health care of women and their families for almost twenty years as a nurse, clinical instructor and nurse-midwife. The most rewarding aspect of nurse-midwifery for me is the privilege of being involved in a woman's life from adolescence through the childbearing years and beyond. I recently had the pleasure of delivering one of my very first patients' fourth baby - what a wonderful job this is!"

Linda Given Welch, CNM, received her nursing degree from St. Francis Nursing School. Continuing her training at the College of St. Francis, Linda received a Bachelor of Health Science degree, followed by a Master of Science degree at Rush University. Linda completed her training at the University of Illinois and received her degree as a certified nurse midwife in 1992.
