Betsy Buckley
Adoption Expert | |
Betsy Buckley was born and raised in a suburb of St. Louis. At age 36, she fulfilled her dream of becoming a parent by adopting her son Michael from Guatemala. Filled with excitement, unanswered questions and a desire to learn about other adoptive experiences, Buckley began extensive research for her book, The Greatest Gift (Creative Arts Book Company, 2001). She continues to live in St. Louis with her husband, son and daughter, Christie, who was also adopted from Guatemala. Buckley continues to write and is involved with International Families, an adoptive support group in St. Louis. Her mission is to raise sensitivity and understanding of all issues concerning adoptive children and their families. | |
