Over the years, the Stones have childproofed thousands of homes and their knowledge of potential safety hazards and prevention methods has gained them local and nationwide recognition. When the media is looking for experts in child safety, they call the Stones. Leslie is a teacher and has her master's degree in early childhood education. In addition, she and Larry are co-authors of the book, The Safe & Sound Child, published in 1996. The book was reviewed by the National Safety Council and has received acclaim on network television. The Stones are also active in Chicago chapter of the National Safe Kids Campaign. | |
