"Interior Design has been a life-long passion which I turned into a full-time career seven years ago. My business is based on the belief that our homes need to be a safe, relaxing, nurturing and functional haven from the fast-paced world in which we live. Each individual in the home needs a private space, no matter how small, to call their own and to retreat to for quiet time. I strive to assist in understanding individual lifestyle and creating a home to support that lifestyle. Personal color and style preferences need to be identified and 'harmony' in all elements needs to be created. I affirm each individual's right to make choices, and encourage taking the time necessary to feel comfortable with those choices. I act as the fine-tuner to assure the design adheres to basic design principles and am the facilitator to assure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner."

Nancy Phillips LeRoy is the president and senior Designer of SPECIAL SPACES, Ltd., an interior design studio specializing in residential projects located near her home in Camp Hill, Pa., a suburban area of Harrisburg. SPECIAL SPACES, Ltd. projects range from one time consultations, to assisting in getting a project started, to whole house renovations and redecorations. Additionally, Phillips LeRoy is certified as a Master of Window Fashion Design.

Nancy has previously had careers in real estate sales and association management, and for the past 25 years has served as a volunteer on various community committees and boards. She has three grown children, two grown step children and six grandchildren.
