Monica C. Montag, M.A., C.N., founder of Be Well Associates, is a licensed nutritionist, process acupressurist and certified Holistic Lifestyle Teacher. Montag is a seminar leader for businesses and community organizations, and has been an invited speaker for the American Cancer Society, WPSX- TV, numerous Penn State University Conferences, statewide, State College Women's Resource Center, Walnut Acres Organic Foods, PA Housing Finance Association and numerous Women's Conferences. She is currently the instructor for a number of wellness programs at the Pennsylvania State University and teaches the nutrition curriculum at the Mt. Nittany School of Natural Health. Montag earned her M.A. at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and her B.A. at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She is certified by the American Health Sciences University and the National Institute for Nutritional Education. She is a member of the Society of Certified Nutritionists and the International Alliance of HealthCare Practitioners. As a Holistic Health Practitioner for over 10 years, she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve optimal health. She has a practical and energetic approach to teaching lifestyle skills and providing therapies that guide her clients to better health and internal harmony. In private practice, she designs personalized nutrition and healthy lifestyle programs, specializing in the appropriate use of vitamins, minerals and herbs.
