Catherine Cram worked as the director and instructor of a hospital based maternal exercise program for seven years prior to starting her consulting company, Comprehensive Fitness Consulting, LLC. Her company specializes in providing maternal fitness programs and guidelines to hospitals, businesses and health/wellness organizations. Her goal is to provide the most current, medically based fitness information to pre-postnatal women and their health care providers. Cram recently completed the video "Progressive Postnatal Recovery," which features selfcare techniques and exercises designed specifically for postnatal women. She also has consulted on two maternal exercise videos, "Positive Prenatal Fitness," and "Positive Postnatal Fitness," and authored the booklet, "Prenatal Fitness: Exercise During Pregnancy." Cram produced with Dr. Judith Maloney, a video for the University of Wisconsin School of Nursing on the effects of bed rest on pregnant women. Cram frequently speaks at health/medical conferences, and has consulted on articles featured in Glamour, Parenting and Fit Pregnancy magazines. She is an instructor of prenatal fitness classes at the University of Wisconsin's Sports Medicine Clinic. She has a Masters degree in exercise physiology from San Diego State University.
