Eve Eliot is the author of Insatiable: The Compelling Story of Four Teens, Food and Its Power (HCI, 2001), a nominee for the Best Books for Young Adults 2002 Booklist and for the annual Michigan Library Association's Thumbs Up Award. She is also the author of its sequel, Ravenous (HCI, 2002) and of the book about shopping mindfully, Attention Shoppers! The Woman's Guide to Enlightenment Through Shopping (HCI, 2003), which was named one of the 10 best spiritual books of 2003 by Spirituality and Health magazine. Elliot has had a psychotherapy practice specializing in women's issues. She holds two guest appearances on the Sally Jesse Raphael Show in 2001 and one appearance on The Jane Pauley Show in 2004. She has also been interviewed over 70 times for both radio and newspapers, including The Boston Globe.
