Harriet S. Worobey, M.A., has been the director of the Nutritional Sciences Preschool since 1991. The preschool, sponsored by the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Rutgers University was named "One of the Top Ten Preschools in the U.S." by Child magazine in 1993 and was subsequently featured on the Today Show. Worobey received her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kean University. At Rutgers, she teaches a course called Nutrition and the Young Child, and with her husband, John, has collaborated in research on the effects of breakfast on pre-academic behavior in preschoolers. Worobey has presented numerous workshops on infant-toddler feeding and "picky eaters" and general child behavior. | |
