Sonny Elliott's unique background includes first-hand experience with troubled families, beginning with the one he was raised in and continuing with the families of the troubled youth he has worked with. He is familiar with how poor family communications can create family conflicts that seem beyond repair and believes the lack of harmony in family relationships results in many of the upsetting events we see taking place today.

In his work over the past 20 years, serving as the president of companies in the oil, securities, real estate and practice management fields, and as father and stepparent to four sons, he has discovered what works to keep people in relationship.

He is the author of Mom, Dad Are You Listening?, his latest book, as well as several articles pertaining to relationship dynamics within the corporate world. He has produced three Family video albums that have appeared in infomercials, as well as several audiotape albums. Sonny is a recognized speaker on human dynamics and has delivered over 2000 presentations to corporations, schools, churches and study groups and has been interviewed for relationship articles in publications such as Parenting Magazine, Teen Parenting, Parents Magazine, Women's Day and Ladies Home Journal. He has appeared on numerous radio shows sharing his insights into family dynamics, and is presently scheduled for an interview to be broadcast on PBS.
