Bonnie's Motherly Advice:

• The first thing you need to realize is that your image of the perfect family changes as the demands of family life arrive. Don't expect to always greet your husband with gourmet meals and quiet intimate moments when he comes home.
• We can't mold our children into what we want them to be. They all come with their own personalities and as they get older, they make their own decisions. Sometimes they make choices that we don't think they should make, but we have to accept them anyway.
• Mothers tend to become overworked and under appreciated. Moms need to teach children that it is not easy being a mother and that now and then Mom deserves a bit of pampering.
• Sometimes in a very busy life some activities need to be dropped. Kids don't need to do everything. They need to be involved with good friends, a positive atmosphere at home and fun times together as a family. It's good for our kids to learn all they can and develop skills, but it's more important for them to grow up knowing they are loved and sacrificed for.
• Enjoy your children! Love them and listen to them.
