Name of Product: Children's Sunglasses
Importer/Distributor: StyleMark Inc., of Ormond Beach, Fla. They were manufactured in China.
Hazard: Surface paint in the orange lettering on the temples of the sunglasses
contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
No injuries or incidents have been reported.
Description: The recalled children's sunglasses have Main Street Drag characters on the bottom of one lens. The sunglass frames have dark metallic blue or dark metallic red fronts and gray checkered sides. "Main Street Drag" is printed in orange at the temples. Style number DI25K7116 is printed on the left temple. No other styles are included in this recall.
Sold at: Payless, Walgreen's, Academy Sports and CVS stores nationwide from October 2007 through March 2008 for between $6 and $9.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled sunglasses away from children and contact StyleMark for instructions on returning the sunglasses for a free replacement pair.

Distributor: Kidz World Inc., d/b/a High Energy USA, of New York, N.Y. They were manufactured in Pakistan, Egypt and Korea.
Hazard: The sweatshirts have a drawstring through hood, which poses a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist by drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets and sweatshirts. No injuries or incidents have been reported.
Description: The recalled boys' sweatshirts are hooded and have a zipper up the
front. They were sold in boys' sizes small and medium. The style number, and "High
Energy" or "Energy Clothing Company," are printed on the sewn-in neck tag. The
following styles are included in this recall.

Hazard: The garments have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist by drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets and sweatshirts.
Description: This recall involves Micros boys' 100% cotton jackets. The hooded
sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood. They were sold in black with a
peace sign patch and a "MCC Micros" patch on the chest, silver with a silver stitched
design on the front, and gray with skulls on the front. Style numbers BZAT 718
(Black) / BZAT 722 (Silver) / BZAT 724 (Dark Gray) are printed on a label sewn
into the jacket's inner side seam.
Sold exclusively at: Nordstrom stores nationwide from November 2007 through December 2007 for about $50.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings to eliminate the
hazard or return the sweatshirts to Nordstrom or to Urgent Gear for a full refund.

Hazard: The sweatshirt jackets have a drawstring through the hood, which poses a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist by drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets and sweatshirts. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Description: The recalled hooded sweatshirts have a drawstring at the neck. They zip up the front, and are either blue with pink stripes on the sleeves with "Red Hot Chili Steppers" printed on the front, or brown with blue stripes on the sleeves with "Powder Puffs Touch League" on the front. The sweatshirts were sold in children's sizes small, medium, large and sizes 4, 5, 6 and 6X. "REBELETTE of Los Angeles" is printed on the collar label.
Sold at: Marshalls Stores and specialty children's clothing retailers nationwide
from July 2007 through September 2007 for about $15.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the hood to eliminate the hazard, or return the sweatshirt to either the place of purchase or to Rebelette International for a full refund.

Name of Product: Children's Metal Necklaces
Manufacturer: Pecoware Co. Inc., of Chino, Calif. They were manufactured in China.
Hazard: The children's necklaces contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if
ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. No incidents
or injuries have been reported.
Description: The recalled necklaces include a cat with silver and pink rhinestones, a heart and lock with pink rhinestones, a silver colored heart with a rhinestone crown and a silver colored lock and key. The necklaces hang from silver colored chains.
Sold at: Department and specialty stores nationwide from January 2006 through July 2007 (cat necklace), and from July 2007 through November 2007 (heart, heart and key and lock and key necklaces) for about $13.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled necklaces away from children and contact Pecoware for instructions on returning the necklaces for a full refund.

Name of Product: A Life of Faith Charm Bracelet Sets
Manufacturer: Mission City Press, of Franklin, Tenn. Manufactured in China.
Hazard: Surface paint on the pearl white beads of the bracelet, contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Description: The recalled bracelets have a silver-colored chain and silver-colored charms, including a Bible, angel, cross, heart, and praying hands. The bracelets were sold with clear, crystal and pearl white beads. The recalled sets include a bracelet for a girl to wear, along with a smaller, matching bracelet for her doll.
Sold by: Specialty toy, book, and gift stores nationwide from October 2006 through November 2007 for about $15.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the bracelet sets (including the girl's bracelet and the doll's bracelet) away from children and return to the Mission City Press to receive a refund. If you received the bracelets for free, please dispose of them or remove the pearl white beads.

MB7808, MB7809, MB7810, MB7812. The model numbers were printed on the original
hang tag. The words
"Kani Polo" are printed on the sweatshirt neck tag. The sweatshirts were sold
in various colors including, blue, gray, black, red and brown in boy's sizes small
(8-10) and medium (12-14).

Description: This recall involves the Bonafide Love children's hooded sweatshirts.
The sweatshirts are reversible and come in two styles. The hearts and stars style
is green and in the front has a heart surrounded by pink stars. On the reverse,
it is hot pink with light pink dots. The Robots style is gray with drawings of
robots and pink
hearts. On the reverse, it has a zebra-like pattern with gray and black stripes.
"Bonafide Love" is printed on a label sewn into the collar.

garments, such as jackets and sweatshirts. No injuries or incidents have been
reported.
Description: The recalled velour jackets have a drawstring at the neck. The jackets are hooded, zip up the front, have a front pocket and were sold with matching velour pants. The word "DIVA" with rhinestones is displayed across the front of the jackets. They were sold in children's sizes small, medium, large, extra-large and 4, 5, 6 and 6X and came in red, blue and beige colors. "Apollo Active Wear" and either style number 5033gk or 5033gg are printed on the jackets' neck tag.
Sold exclusively at: Marshall's Stores nationwide from August 2007 through November 2007 for about $15.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the jacket's hood to eliminate the hazard, or return it for a full refund to either the place of purchase or Apollo Jeans.

Name of Product: "Warmest Jacket" Boys' Jackets
Retailer: Gap Outlet, operated by Gap Inc., of San Francisco, Calif. They were manufactured in Indonesia.
Hazard: The jackets have a waist drawstring with a toggle that could become snagged
or caught in small spaces or doorways, which can pose an entrapment hazard to
children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines to help prevent children from
getting entangled at the waist by drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets
and sweatshirts. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Description: The jackets are hooded, zip in front and have a drawstring at the waist. They were sold in navy and gray in multiple children's sizes. "Gap Outlet" is printed on a label at the neck. Style number 513573 is printed on a white label sewn behind the size and product care label near the neckline.
Sold exclusively at: Gap Outlet stores nationwide from September 2007 through December 2007 for about $50.
Remedy: Consumers should stop wearing the jacket immediately and return it to any Gap Outlet store for a full refund. Consumers who return the jacket before April 30, 2008, will also receive a $5 appreciation card. Consumers choosing to keep the jacket should immediately remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard.
