Name of Product: Guardian Full-face Masks
Manufacturer: Undersea Systems International Inc., dba Ocean Technology Systems, of Santa Ana, Calif.
Hazard: If significant pressure is applied vertically to the top and bottom of
the visor clamp, the clear plastic visor may dislodge, causing the mask to flood.
Incidents/Injuries: Ocean Technology Systems has received three reports of visors dislodging. No injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall involves the Guardian full-face mask, which is a scuba diving mask that incorporates the second stage regulator into the mask allowing it to cover the diver's full face.
Sold by: Direct sales and diving equipment retailers nationwide from March 2009 through August 2009 for $800.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the diving masks and contact Ocean Technology Systems to receive a free repair. Ocean Technology Systems is providing consumers stainless steel clamps to secure the plastic visor.

Name of Product: 2009 Model Electra Bicycles with Front Trays or Baskets
Importer: Electra Bicycle Co., of Vista, Calif.
Hazard: The front tray or basket on the bicycles can come loose and contact the front tire, posing a fall hazard to riders.
Incidents/Injuries: Electra Bicycle Co. has received 15 reports of the front tray or the basket coming loose including two reports of minor cuts and bruises.
Description: This recall involves the 2009 Delivery 3i, Delivery 8D, Holiday
3i, Holiday 8i and Surf 3i bicycles with front-mounted trays or baskets. The trays
have an alloy frame with wooden slats. The baskets are wicker with a removable
tote bag. The trays were sold as original equipment on the bicycles and as aftermarket
items. The baskets were sold only as aftermarket items.
Sold by: Authorized Electra Bicycle dealers nationwide from October 2008 through August 2009 for between $600 and $750 for the bicycles and about $100 for after-market trays and baskets.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop riding these bicycles and contact an Electra Bicycle dealer for a free inspection and repair of the trays that came as original equipment on the bicycles, or a refund for trays and baskets purchased as aftermarket items.

Name of Product: Diving Air Hose for Dry Suits
Manufacturer: SI Tech AB, of Brastad, Sweden
Hazard: The hose contains an insert that can dislodge during diving and restrict air flow to the diver, posing a drowning hazard.
Incidents/Injuries: SI Tech has received six reports of hose inserts dislodging, including one that was involved in the death of a diver in Los Angeles, Calif.
Description: This recall involves a dry suit inflation hose that connects a diver's
dry suit to the air supply and allows for the pumping of air into the suit to
set up a positive pressure arrangement to help keep it watertight. The hose contains
an air flow restricting insert that may be either black, blue or green in color.
The batch code is stamped on the threaded metal end of the hose. They were sold
with dry suits and also sold separately. Contact SI Tech for a list of batch codes
included in this recall or visit the firm's Web site, www.sitech.se.
Sold at: Diving equipment retailers and distributors nationwide from July 2006
through February 2009 for about $45.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using diving equipment that contains the recalled low pressure inflation hoses and contact SI Tech for the location of an authorized dealer for a free repair, which involves removal of the hose insert, or to receive instructions on how to repair the hose.

Name of Product: Schwalbe Ultremo R Bicycle Tires
Importer: Moser Enterprises, of Canada
Hazard: The tire layers could separate, causing the inner tube to rupture, posing
a fall hazard to consumers. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall includes Schwalbe Ultremo R bicycle tires. "Schwalbe" and "Ultremo R" are printed on the sidewall of the tires.
Sold at: Bicycle specialty stores and on the Web at www.schwalbetires.com from April 2009 through May 2009 for about $75.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using bicycles with the recalled tires and contact their local bicycle dealer for a free replacement set of tires.

Name of Product: John Deere Compact Utility Tractors
Manufacturer: Deere & Company, of Moline, Ill.
Hazard: An incorrectly sized differential was installed in the tractor transaxle
affecting the engagement of the differential lock and causing the tractor to turn
to the left when braking. This causes the vehicle to veer left when the brake
is applied, posing a risk of collision and injury to the operator and bystanders.
There were no incidents or injuries reported.
Description: The recalled tractors have model numbers 3032E and 3038E painted on the side of the tractor. The serial number plate is on the tractor frame above the front wheel to the right of the operator. The serial numbers can be found here.
Sold by: John Deere dealers nationwide from July 2009 through August 2009 for between $13,000 and $15,000.
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled vehicles immediately and contact a John Deere dealer to schedule a free repair. John Deere tractor dealers were notified of this recall and registered owners of the recalled tractors will be directly contacted by the firm.

Name of Product: 10 Speed SRAM Bicycle Chains with PowerLock connector links
Manufacturer: SRAM LLC, of Chicago, Ill.
Hazard: The recalled PowerLock connector links, used on bicycle chains, are brittle and can crack, allowing the chain to separate from the bicycle and posing a fall hazard to the rider.
Incidents/Injuries: One incident has been reported in the United States and three outside. No injuries have been reported.
Description: The recall involves SRAM PowerLock connector links, which are sold
individually, on 10-speed bicycle chains and as original equipment on some bicycles.
The recalled PowerLock connector links are identified by a date code of M or N,
which is located on the side of the PowerLock connector link. 10-speed SRAM chains
that were equipped with recalled PowerLock connector links include the following
chain model numbers: PC-1030, PC-1050, PC-1070, PC-1090 and PC-1090R. The recalled
chains were also installed on some Guru, Surly, Salsa, BMC, Serotta, Seven and
Ridley brand complete bicycles. The individual PowerLock connectors and bike chains
with these connectors were sold from January 2009 through August 2009; bicycles
with affected chains were sold from April 2009 through August 2009.
Sold at: Specialty bicycle retailer stores nationwide from January 2009 through
August 2009. PowerLock connector links were sold separately for about $5 or as
part of 10-speed chains for between $35 and $85.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled PowerLock connectors, chains and bicycles with these connectors and contact their SRAM retailer for a free replacement PowerLock connector link.

Name of Product: Cannibal Bicycles
Importer: Nirve Sports Ltd., of Huntington Beach, Calif.
Hazard: The bicycle stem can crack and cause the rider to lose control, posing a risk of serious injury if the rider falls.
Incidents/Injuries: Nirve Sports has received two reports of cracked stems. In both cases, the cracks occurred during assembly of the bicycle. No injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall involves Cannibal "Chopper" model bicycles with graphic designs by artist Corey Miller. The bicycles have a black matte finish. The affected bicycles have a serial number within the following range: L8E0300001 – L8E1001050. Serial numbers are located on the bottom of the bicycle between the pedals.

Sold by: Nirve Sports and authorized dealers nationwide from December 2008 through April 2009 for about $600.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop riding the bicycles and return them to the place of purchase for free repair.

Hazard: The bicycle's fork steerer tube can break, causing the rider to lose control and fall, posing a risk of injury.
Incidents/Injuries: Felt Bicycles has received six reports of the bicycle forks breaking, including two reports of minor cuts and scrapes.
Description: The recall includes all 2007/2008 Felt F1X Cyclocross Bicycles. These bicycles are available in semimatte black and have aluminum frames with carbon fiber forks with aluminum steerer tubes.
Sold by: Bicycle specialty stores nationwide from July 2006 through April 2009 for between $1,400 and $1,500.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycles and contact a local Felt Bicycles dealer to receive a free inspection and repair.

Name of Products: 2009 d'lite ST and Solo ST Child Trailers
Manufacturer: Burley Design LLC, of Eugene, Ore.
Hazard: The axle assembly's internal sleeve can loosen, causing one wheel to separate from the trailer. This poses a risk of injury to the child occupant or bike rider. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Description: The recalled products are two-wheeled child trailers designed to
carry one or two children behind a bicycle. Only the 2009 d'lite ST and 2009 Solo
ST trailers with serial numbers that begin with D939 or D948 are included in the
recall. The serial number is located in the rear cargo area behind the seat on
the lower left rear frame tube. The trailers have "d'lite ST" or "solo ST" screen
printed on the cover.
Sold by: Independent bicycle retailers and specialty outdoor retailers nationwide
and on various web sites from November 2008 through June 2009 for between $550
and $6
00.
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the trailer immediately and contact Burley to receive a free repair kit or to locate a retailer to assist with the free repair.

Name of Product: Baby Jogger City Mini Strollers
Distributor: Baby Jogger LLC, of Richmond, Va.
Hazard: The stroller's restraint buckle could break or unlatch, allowing the child or infant to fall out. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Description: This recall involves Baby Jogger City Mini single and double strollers.
"City Mini" is printed on the stroller. Item numbers and date codes included in
this recall are listed in the chart below along with stroller colors. The item
number is printed on a sticker on the rear wheel crossbar. The manufacturing date
code is engraved on
the frame behind the rear wheel axle crossbar or on the back of the frame on
the upright bar between the right rear wheel and the seat. The item numbers, color

Sold at: Juvenile products stores, mass merchandisers and department stores nationwide and on various Web sites including www.amazon.com from November 2007 through July 2009 for between $220 and $400.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact
Baby Jogger to receive a free replacement restraint buckle and installation instructions.
