Name of Product: Little Builder Children's Board Book Sets with Toys

Importer: Dalmatian Press LLC, of Franklin, Tenn. They were manufactured in China.

Hazard: The cylinder on the toy concrete mixer and the tailgate on the toy dump truck can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Description: This recall involves Little Builder Children's Board Book sets with ISBN 1-49373-215-9. The sets include four concept board books (colors, tools, 123, shapes) and two toy trucks (dump truck and concrete mixer truck).

Sold at: Wal-Mart, Levy Home Entertainment, Lion Sales of NW Brunswick, Farris Wholesale Outlet, Crane Book Sales, Ingram Book Co., BPDI Corp., Books A Million and Christmas Tree Shop stores nationwide and on the Internet at Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com from August 2007 through February 2008 for about $9.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys from young children and return the entire book set to the retailer where purchased for a refund or exchange.

Magnetic Dart Boards Recalled by Henry Gordy Int'l

Name of Product: Fun 'N Games Magnetic Dart Boards

Importer: Henry Gordy International Inc., of Plainfield, N.J. They were manufactured in China.

Hazard: Small magnets at the ends of the darts can detach. Magnets found by young children can be swallowed or aspirated. If more than one magnet is swallowed, the magnets can attract each other and cause intestinal perforations or blockages, which can be fatal. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Description and Models: This recall involves magnetic dartboards with a black, green, blue and white-checkered design, and a red bulls eye. The magnetic dartboards measure about 5 1/2 inches wide and were sold with two 2 3/4-inch-long magnetic darts. The darts magnetically attract to the dart board.

Sold Exclusively at: Family Dollar stores nationwide from September 2002 through March 2008 for about $1.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled magnetic boards away from children and return them by first class mail to: Henry Gordy International Inc., 809A Market Street, Hermann, MO 65041 for a full refund including tax and shipping costs.

Plush Insect Toys Recalled by Dollar Tree Stores

Name of Product: Cuddly Cousins Plush Insect Toys

Retailer: Dollar Tree Stores Inc., of Chesapeake, Va. They were manufactured in China.

Hazard: The recalled plush insect toys contain small parts, posing a choking hazard to small children. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Description: The recalled plush insect toys come in six designs: Lady Bug, Bumble Bee, Caterpillar, Snail and two Butterflies. The toys measure nine inches to 10 1/2 inches in length.

The lady bug is black with six legs, a red back with four black dots and orange eyelids. The bumble bee is black and yellow with six legs, sheer white wings and red eyelids. The caterpillar has four sections that are yellow, pink, green and orange with seven legs connected on each side and purple eyelids. The snail is yellow with dark pink eyelids and a two tone brown shell. One butterfly is blue and yellow with sheer purple wings with four orange dots and light pink eyelids. The second butterfly is a two tone pink with blue eyelids and sheer green wings with four yellow dots. The product number is 903995 and UPC is 6 39277 03995 8 with a date code of 71.

Sold at: Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Dollar Express, Greenbacks, Only One $1 and Deal$ stores nationwide from March 2007 through December 2007 for about $1.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled plush insect toys from children and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund.

Imaginarium Activity Centers Sold at Toys "R" Us Recalled

Name of Product: Imaginarium Multi-sided Activity Centers and Jungle Activity Centers

Hazard: Small parts on the toys can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Incidents/Injuries: Toys "R" Us has received 12 reports of small parts detaching from activity centers. No injuries have been reported.

Description and Models: This recall involves the Imaginarium Multi-sided and Jungle activity centers. The multi-sided activity center has moveable block letters, clock face, sliding shapes and gears. The jungle activity centers have peg jumping monkeys, sliding fish, abacus beads, bead mazes and other animal-themed activities. "Imaginarium" and the name of the activity center are printed on the packaging. Item numbers 69042 (multi-sided) and 69083 (jungle) are printed on the back of the box, near the bar code.

Sold exclusively at: Toys "R" Us stores nationwide and www.toysrus.com from August 2007 through February 2008 for between $20 and $50.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the activity centers from children and return the toys to the nearest Toys "R" Us for a refund or store credit. Consumers can go to www.toysrus.com/safety/safetyFAQ.cfm for more information.

Children's "Main Street Drag" Sunglasses Recalled by StyleMark

Name of Product: Children's Sunglasses

Importer/Distributor: StyleMark Inc., of Ormond Beach, Fla. They were manufactured in China.

Hazard: Surface paint in the orange lettering on the temples of the sunglasses contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard. No injuries or incidents have been reported.

Description: The recalled children's sunglasses have Main Street Drag characters on the bottom of one lens. The sunglass frames have dark metallic blue or dark metallic red fronts and gray checkered sides. "Main Street Drag" is printed in orange at the temples. Style number DI25K7116 is printed on the left temple. No other styles are included in this recall.

Sold at: Payless, Walgreen's, Academy Sports and CVS stores nationwide from October 2007 through March 2008 for between $6 and $9.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled sunglasses away from children and contact StyleMark for instructions on returning the sunglasses for a free replacement pair.

Plan Toys Inc. Recalls Toy Penguins Due to Laceration Hazard

Name of Product: Toy Penguin Figures

Manufacturer: Plan Toy Inc., of Mountain View, Calif. They were manufactured in Thailand.

Hazard: The head of the penguin toy can detach, exposing connectors with sharp points, presenting a laceration hazard to consumers.

Incidents/Injuries: Plan Toys has received one report of the head of a penguin toy detaching. No injuries have been reported.

Description: The wood penguin-shaped toy has a black head with rubber fins, a yellow nose and a white body with red on the base. The toy is round-shaped and creates a soft bell jingle when spun. The toy measures about 3 3/4 inches in height and about 3 inches in diameter. "PLAN TOYS" and UPC number 084543521109 or EAN number 8854740052117 are printed on the outside of the packaging of the toy.

Sold at: Specialty toy stores nationwide and online from May 2007 through February 2008 for between $15 and $20.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the penguin toys away from children and return them to the store where purchased to receive a refund. Consumers also can contact Plan Toys to receive instructions on returning the penguin toys via mail for a refund.

Plush Rocker Toys Recalled by Tek Nek Toys

Name of Product: Rock 'N Ride Plush Rocker Toys

Manufacturer: Tek Nek Toys Int'l L.P., of Southlake, Texas

Hazard: The base of the rocker can become unstable and allow the rocker to tip forward or backward, posing a fall hazard to children.

Incidents/Injuries: Tek Nek Toys has received 35 reports of the rockers tipping over, including 10 reports of injuries such as bumps, bruises and lacerations.

Description: This recall involves Rock 'N Ride plush rocker toys sold in eight models: brown pony, pink pony, pink unicorn, deluxe pony, deluxe bull, lil' penguin, lil' propeller plane and Clifford big red rocker. The toys have molded plastic rocker bases and were sold for children at least 18 months old and up to 65 pounds. A button on the toy's ear, hat or dash activates songs and phrases when pressed. Rockers included in this recall have a date code from July 26, 2007, through December 29, 2007. The date codes are printed on a sticker inside the battery compartment.

Sold at: Wal-Mart, Toys "R" Us, Kmart, Target, Atwoods and Pamida stores nationwide and Internet retailers from September 2007 through March 2008 for about $30.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the rocker toys away from young children and contact Tek Nek Toys for a free replacement base.

Hobby Lobby Recalls Easter Egg Containers and Spinning Egg Tops

Name of Product: Camouflage Eggs and Spinning Egg Top Toys

Hazard: The paint on the toys contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

The Camouflage Easter Egg Treat Containers have Item #1031 printed on the front of the packaging and are white, brown and green camouflage colors, sold in a package of eight eggs. "Made in China for Tony Development and Mfg Ltd; TST, Kin, HK" and UPC code number 43078 01031 are printed on the back of the packing.

The Easter Spinning Egg Tops have Item #1054 printed on the front of the packaging and are multi-colored and come in packages of a single egg and a rip cord. "Made in China for Tony Development and Mfg Ltd. TST, Kin, HK" and UPC code number 43078 01054 are printed on the back of the packaging.

Sold at: Hobby Lobby Stores nationwide from January 2008 through March 2008. The camouflage egg sold for about $2.50 and the Spinning Top sold for about $2.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled Camouflage Eggs and the Spinning Egg Tops away from children and contact Hobby Lobby to receive a $3 exchange card that can be used toward the purchase of any other products sold at Hobby Lobby stores.

Description: The recalled journals are spiral bound journals, activity books and calendars sold in a variety of styles, sizes and colors. Galison or Mudpuppy and the ISBN numbers are printed on the back cover of the calendars/journals. Calendars/journals included in the recall are listed here.

Sold at: Specialty and gift stores nationwide and on-line from August 2003 through December 2007 for between $7 and $10.

Remedy: Consumers should remove the back cover of the calendars/journals with the ISBN barcode number and contact Galison for instructions on returning the back cover for a refund. The journals/calendars should be discarded.

Toy Sundae Sets Sold at Target Recalled by Battat Inc.

Name of Product: Play Wonder Toy Sundae Sets

Distributor: Battat Inc., of Plattsburgh, N.Y. They were manufactured in China.

Hazard: The wooden cherries on top of the toy sundae pose a choking hazard to young children. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Description: The recalled wooden sundae set toy includes six wooden scoops of ice cream, three cherries that attach to the top of the ice cream scoops, banana slices, a spoon and bowl. The ice cream scoops are green, pink, brown, yellow and purple. The sundae set pieces attach to each other with Velcro. Model number DPCI-204-12-0526 is included in this recall and is located on the packaging.

Sold exclusively at: Target Stores nationwide from December 2006 through December 2007 for about $10.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled toy sundae sets away from children and return the toys to any Target store for a full refund.
