Hey everyone hope you all are doing well!

I have nothing to contribute (for once heh heh) about the reality shows, I never get to watch them, shoot, I bought a John Grisham book last week (Bleachers) and I STILL am trying to read it. Never have enough time. {{sigh}} I did get to watch like the last 5 episodes of the Apprentice. I thought it was cool.

Margarita~ sounds like baby girl may have been a tad dehydrated. Also, childrens resting heart rates are considerably faster than adults. When you are dehydrated, often, your heart rate is elevated. Sounds like her body knew just what to do - hard sleep and better in the morning. :0) I hear ya on the sheet washing...one time Dylan, Nate and Maddi all had the tummy flu. Oh...it was bad. I did nothing but wash sheets/towels for two days. Uggh. Mommihood huh? :0)

Hi guys.
Well, dd seems to be feeling a little better today - actually a lot better. She had a temp still at 5:11 am, and I gave her motrin, but it never came back significantly. She at a whole blueberry pancake for breakfast (usually only eats part of one) and has eaten fine, and kept it down, since. I am trying to keep her quiet still, we have a busy few weeks and I don't want her sick. Hopefully I am not coming down with whatever she had - I just started to feel zapped a bit ago. The weather is really overcast here, and dd is being fairly quiet, so I tried to lay down for a nap. I closed off the hallway so dd could play in her room, or in my room while I napped (our house is babysafe, but those rooms in particular are toddlersafe). That didn't work very well, because she just climbed up on my bed and proceeded to urge me to put a puzzle together, etc. When she did finally let me close my eyes, she peed her pants bigtime - she has been doing really well PTing and in undies only at home. So, no nap. Now I am washing sheets :o). And drinking some chai tea to try to wake up!!

Last night when dd had a fever, I was getting worried because her heart seemed to be beating VERY hard and fast. It was before I gave her anything, and all I did give her was motrin when her fever exceeded 101. Is that normal? I tried to count by placing my hand on her chest and counting each thump for a minute, I came up with apx. 190.
On a lighter note: she woke up from her motrin/fever induced sleep around 10, just as the M's were playing their 9th inning against the Angels. She woke up by asking, "He walked." I asked her what she meant, and she said, "The Mariner walked." LOL she must have been listening to the game in her sleep (she was on the couch) because indeed someone had just been walked. ANyhow, I asked her if the Mariners were going to win, it was a one run ball game at the time, and she said yes (they are having terrible luck on the road this year). Anyhow, in like the 13th or 14th inning, they DID win! She wanted to let me know that "I can throw a ball and swing a bat." And the first thing she did upon waking this morning, was run to her room and get her bat, ball, and mitt and bring them to me. She and I slept on the couch because I wanted to be near her if she threw up, and also because I was paranoid about how hard her heart was beating. She's such a cutie pie.

Riley~Thanx! LOL! I did not have the patience to go to the website, and *cheated* by having J-Mo email me.=) Yay! It was NOT Jase! Did he really pee himself J-Mo? He's a GUY! Just *whip it out* and pee away from the wind....unless Mr. Macho doesn't have *enough there* to make much of an arc with? HeeHee!

Ellyn~We are leaving Sunday Morning...Jake wants to leave by Noon, I want to leave at 6:00 a.m. Sooooo, we'll be hittin' the road at sunrise! Jake is the most disorganized person when it comes time to go anywhere! Honestly, in all our years of marriage, Jake has NEVER, not once, gotten into the car and just left. He always has to make at least one trip back into the house for something he forgot! =) That's where I come in handy...I have lists of everything we need for our trip, right down to having Dayton's pacifier(the kids call it her *doh-doh*) written down.....Lord help us ALL if we forgot Daytie's Doh-Doh!!LOL! I'm just so excited to get AWAY!!! Lot's of work to get done yet though....later all!

angela - Yes, *Cowboy* seems gullible to me, too. I think Marvin has the potential to be a power player because he's smarter than Jase and Scott. They think they'll cut him loose when they don't need him and I think he may have buried them by the time they realize they need to cut him loose. When do you leave on vacation?

J-MoMama~HeeHee!! I would just be mortified if my doctor was doing my exam, and started LAUGHING!! Email me with who won HOH!!! Please!

Ellyn~Drew's reaction was a little strange too...also when they were telling Jase *you only spend five minutes a day with US, and 24/7 with HER*...what are they, 14 year olds? And how gullible is *cowboy*? Those pretty boys will drop him like a bad habit at the first opportunity....

WHEW! it is some sorta hot out there! the game was fun, too hot to stay a long time, tho. i came home to jump in the pool and cool off!

i was SO happy that holly got the boot last nite in BB5. i know who who the HoH contest....i won't say unless you wanna know! i will tell you it lasted 9 hours!!!

ANGELA, your dr. appt reminded me of something i read in reader's digest or something like that. a woman had her "annual" appt and was racing around trying to get the kids ready for school etc and ran out of time to shower before her appt (she had showered the nite before, but you know how important it is to feel clean!) anyway she ran up to the bathroom and grabbed a washcloth off the counter and just wiped herself clean. at the dr's office he started laughing and she was a little taken aback, come to find out the cloth had been used by her 6 yr old and was full of glitter. thus.....she was lookin' quite sparkly for the dr!!!

LYNE, hope the party goes well tonite!

Barb~LOL! Yep...I think Holly is confusing *jealousy* with disgust at the dumb bimbo act. I like Nokomis too, and I kind of like Adria. I was a bit confused at Adria praying the day of the House Eviction Ceremony though...the game consists of lying and deception, neither of which I think a person should pray to be better at in order to win a reality show game, unless you really needed the prize money to pay for life saving surgery or something. I like Diane too...only because she pulled Holly's chain so much! =)

Friday, July 30, 2004 at 14:36:49 (EDT)

Angela, I saw BB last night. I was so glad that Holly was booted. She annoyed me to no end. I think she confused other women's jealousy with everyone just hating the type of person that she is! I continue to despise Jase and Scott. I love how both their moms outed them last night! Scott with his lies, Jase with his "mirror face". Ha! Everyone else I feel OK about, though I haven't chosen a person to root for yet. I like Nokomis. Maybe I'll pull for her. I wonder who won HOH last night?

Barb
Friday, July 30, 2004 at 14:09:02 (EDT)

Did anybody watch Big Brother 5 last night? Yay! Holly got evicted...that Bette-Boop-On-Meth voice of hers is so irritating. Plus, now little Jase is upset...his boys went against his wishes, and he actually looked like he was CRYING when Holly left! I know....my life is pathetic...but I'm addicted this season! LOL! Plus, Adria AND her twin both get to start playing next week...Jase and Scott will flip. HeeHee!

Good morning, everyone.

I had a fun afternoon with my sister yesterday. We met my hubby for lunch and then went shopping at the mall. All I bought was a spatula at Pottery Barn! My sister's five months pregnant and she wanted to keep Isabelle today, so she's going to be busy!

Margarita, your poor little baby! I hope she's doing better.

J-mo mama, have fun at the cricket game!

morning everyone, and as we say here in bermuda, happy cupmatch! i didn't do too much yesterday for the holiday, but today i'll be heading up to the cricket game for some celebrating!

MARGARITA, hope your baby is feeling better today!

speaking of child predators, did you hear that the woman who slept with her 12 yr old student about 9 or 10 years ago is getting out of jail soon? apparently she and the boy are hoping to work things out and maybe get married to raise their 2 children together. NASTY.

well ladies, have a wonderful day!

Yes, thank you iparenting.

Well, my break started today, and it hasn't been off to a good start. When I picked up dd from daycare, she was definitely not her usual cheerful self, and I asked if that had been the case all day, and they said yes that she had been a bit grouchy and not wanting to play. I met a friend for coffee but kept it quick, and usually being around new friends will perk dd right up, but she just hid in my lap and bosom the entire time. SHe fell asleep on the way home - VERY unusual. Shortly after getting home and laying down on the couch, she threw up curdled milk - always my favorite to clean up. Gave her a coolish bath as she had a small fever, cleaned the couch, washed her hair, etc. Then I lined the couch with a clean sheet, dressed her, and laid her down with a all fruit popsicle. She ate some of it. Later I gave her some boiled chicken pieces and some peas. She ate some of it. Then she threw up again. Poor little angel was embarrassed for some reason - I kept telling her that there is nothing wrong with throwing up if your tummy feels bad. She wanted another shower, but I honestly thought she would throw up AGAIN after that, so I just gave her a sponge bath and sort of rinsed out her hair. SInce then she fell asleep on the couch.

I made a yummy sandwich for dinner. I had some boiled chicken breast left over from last night, and I have fresh basil in my flower bed. So I made a Greek pita sandwich with olive oil, cider vinegar, basil and mint dressing. There was chicken, tomato, cucumbers, sweet red onion in the sandwich too. Yum yum yum, delicioso! :o)

Well, I need to go start another load of laundry - the second puke round. Not delicioso!

Melissa~Isn't that site something else? You know what is REALLY scary? A lot of those predators look pretty All-American-Clean-Cut, you know? They have respectable jobs, live in nice neighborhoods, and have nice families....Well, they maybe don't have that stuff once they're *outed*, and the Webmaster makes all the phone calls. LOL! I watched an interesting program last night on Court TV. Anyway, the topic was Internet Child Predators, and how law enforcement has set up *stings* using police, who pose as kids, on the internet to lure predators to a meeting place and then arrest them. There is another civilian guy who runs a Website called Perverted Justice.Com....they pose as young kids on the internet, and arrange meeting with these sick perverts, and once the sickos commit to a meeting, the website posts ALL of their information on the site....plus, they call the person's wife, employer, neighbors, church, EVERYBODY. They also post a picture of the predator, along with the transcript of what they were saying to who they THOUGHT was a child online. Along with that, they verify THIS person is also whatever screen name they use, and basically *out* these jerks who troll online looking to get their jollies off with kids. Of course, once they are caught, these guys(and some girls) cry about their civil rights, right to privacy, yada, yada, yada...but an attorney who specializes in *Cyber Law* says there is NOTHING illegal about *outing* these creeps as long as the Webmaster posts the authenticated transcript of the *chat* that these creeps were having with the kids. Some of those transcripts are just shocking! Sick bastards....they deserve whatever they get. Hate to be them!!

LOL! My computer deleted the misspellings....Keeping in mind basic spelling and grammar rules, our little friend should figure out that if THIS is how the word *friends* is supposed to be spelled, then the word *believe* should be spelled the same way. All that deep wisdom, and she can't remember a third grade spelling rule.
angela
Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 09:45:29 (EDT)

Good morning ladies~

Margarita~Well said!

Barb~That sounds like a lot of fun...especially looking at houses. ESPECIALLY if we our looking at houses that somebody else is buying. I have to do the *company* cleaning(as opposed to everyday cleaning) when we get back from vacation. I have five brothers and sisters, and all of them along with spouses, children, and our parents are coming to our house....don't know how my house got nominated, I don't remember voting. LOL! We don't all get together often, even at holidays, because it is just hard to get so many people all in one place....we work all sorts of odd hours, and live in different states. It will be SO nice to see everybody, and since ours are the youngest grandchildren, nieces, nephew...they'll get spoiled.=)

I better run......TC all!

P.S. One more time...*I before E except after C*...So, if friends is NOT spelled like this , then it would follow that the word BELIEVE is NOT spelled like this ...not a bright one are you? Sheesh.

Good morning, everyone.

I read about that woman who killed her baby and herself -- her poor husband. It's just awful.

I had a cleaning night last night. It always looks so good after cleaning, but my hubby and I totally drag our feet about doing it. We were motivated yesterday because my sister is flying in to visit today, and my mom is coming tomorrow. The best part is that we don't have any plans... we're just going to relax, do some shopping, play with Isabelle, etc. Usually when I see them it's for a rushed event (Christmas, etc.), so I'm really looking forward to not having any plans. My mom is going to move here, so we're going to meet with a realtor and proabably drive around looking at townhomes, which I find really fun.

Have a good day!

To be quite honest though, three is enough for us anyway, but there is just such a *finality* to knowing THIS baby will be the last. Daytie is just so sweet and smart, that Jake and I think we ended on a great note! Every milestone is a little more bittersweet now, and we won't see them again until we are hopefully blessed with grandchildren(but I will happily wait for those!)=)

I DO like going out on a *date* once in a while though....I can put on *full make-up*, and eat dinner at a restaurant without cutting my neighbors food for them! Riley~So true! The one about giving away the baby clothes is really relevant. I gave away almost ALL of Mason's baby clothes when Dayton was born, along with all of her *newborn* things once she outgrew them. I kept each of the baby's *coming home* outfits, and everything else was donated to Goodwill. I stopped in to the area Goodwill shop a couple of months ago to look for clothes to make a costume with for Maranda. I was going through one of the bins, and found some really nice baby clothes, that looked really familiar...they were OURS!! O.K....now I have to admit this...I bought two of the little outfits back to keep in their keepsake boxes!LOL! =) A little pair of overalls, and a little yellow dress with a bonnet...it's so hard to give those outfits away, because they aren't just clothes you know? Each outfit is attached to a memory, or a milestone, and I'm a big sentimental SAP. =) Thanx for the post, it was nice!

Angela, that's not dumb... my mom asked the same thing when I was talking to her while cooking last night. Tilapia is a white fish. It's very mild and barely "fishy"... we grill it, broil it, and now make it into a patty.

Just a little poem I found to lighten the mood today!
Enjoy!!

You Know Your a Mom When...
1. You count the sprinkles on each kid's cupcake to make sure they're equal.
2. You find yourself cutting your husbands' sandwiches into cute shapes.
3. You can't bear to give away baby clothes - it's so final.
4. You hear your mother's voice coming out of your mouth when you say, "NOT in your good clothes!"
5. You stop criticizing the way your mother raised you.
6. You hire a sitter because you have't been out with your husband in ages, then spend half the night checking on the kids.
7. You say at least once a day, "I'm not cut out for this job", but you know you wouldn't trade it for anything

Barb~I am always looking for new recipes from mom's who have children around my little one's age. I can find TONS of recipes, but finding things that three different children will like is the trick. My kids will eat corn in just about anything...this may sound dumb, but what is tilapia?=)

Oh, I wanted to tell you guys about the delicious dinner I made last night (and I just ate it for lunch, too). Monday night my hubby had broiled tilapia for me. I always have him make extra so I can have it for lunch the next day, but that day I had him make four of them so I could follow this recipe. So Monday for dinner and yesterday for lunch I had broiled tilapia (with a spicy coating). Last night I flaked up the leftovers and mixed it with eggs, bread crumbs and corn that I husked from a cob and fried it with a little oil. It was SOOOO good. The only bad thing about it was while cooking, the corn started popping! Not like popcorn, but it was flying around the kitchen... I had to chase the dogs out so they wouldn't eat it because it was too hot! I got the recipe out of Real Simple magazine.

BARB, i'm with ya. i cannot STAND scott and jase. seriously, i don't know if i'll be able to watch the whole season of BB5 if they don't go soon. i REALLY don't like holly either, she is sooooo annoying! in the amazing race i haven't chosen a favorite yet, but i know i don't like the brothers!

MELISSA, great job at WW! can you see the weight loss yet?

MARAGARITA, relax relax relax on your break! have fun!

Misty and Fatima!!! How the heck ar you guys...I was thinking the same thing..is it time for school again already? Wow.

As for posting at work: I can't. I can only post from home. We have limited internet access at work, and I frankly don't have the time. Besides the fact, in my line of work, I don't have time to sit. I'm rarely at the nurse's
station except to chart. Last night's calm was a rarity (and a welcome one) I sat and colored pictures and stenciled and stamped. It was like a craft party and a lot of fun. Can't believe I got paid to be in kindergarten last night LOL....the highlight of the night was sterilizing two babies to receive PICC lines, but that is it. The rest of the night was smoooooth sailin'.

Barb~I watched both! Jake was wondering what was up with the *Flashdance* ensemble with Jase. He and Scott are just pricks! And what was with making Drew cry? LOL! I think I am still rooting for the modelling couple on the Amazing Race(I can't remember their names! He has the kind of shaggy blond hair). His poor girlfriend was SO sick eating that caviar, she was shaking! I was glad she finished...two pounds of anything is a lot to eat. The couple who lost(the older couple) were really sweet too!

Anyone watch "Big Brother" last night? Anyone HATE Jase and Scott as much as I do? What's with their clothes? What guy do you know cuts the neck out of a sweatshirt and let's it hang off one shoulder? He is so gross, and that whole Brad Pitt thing cracked me up. Anyone see "The Amazing Race" afterward? I'm having a hard time choosing a team to root for. I guess I like the twins best. I hate those brothers, that Colin guy reminds me of a wife beater and the models drive me crazy with all their god-speak. But I'll continue to watch, of course. I'm addicted.

LOL Barb~I know! She is so different from Mason! We had to move him from his Infant Carrier before he was actually even sitting up! Dayton is in the 25th percentile for her length, but she is with the *little ones* in the weight department. Her pediatrician said it is no worry, because she is so active, that she is burning everything off rapidly. She was walking at 10 months, so developmentally she is doing great....she's just little. She only has yum-yum's left around her thighs now, and the rest of her is pretty lean and lithe. She can say *nice* when she is petting the dog or cat, and she can say *no,no,no* while waving her finger at you. She also says *hi*, *mama*, and *daddy*. That's about it I think.....

Barb - Audrey is 90% in weight and 40% in height. She is a shorty with chubby legs. I can't buy her shorts with elastic around the legs, it cuts her circulation. :)

Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 11:50:58 (EDT)

Angela, wow, Dayton is still in her carrier? Izzy outgrew hers by 10 months (in weight and height) and I was so glad because it was really getting hard to haul her around! Dayton's a little cutie, though, and I'm sure she's perfectly healthy. Like adults, all babies are different. Isabelle is in the 97th percentile in both height and weight. She's got rolls around her thighs... so cute! Most of her chub is on her thighs, and some 2T clothes won't fit over them!

Hi there, Misty (and Fatima)!

LMAO..sorry...about Izzy's check up...HEY...she is a big girl. Esai is 18 mos and they weigh the same. Good for her on speaking so much. You are such a proud mama (a good thing...)I think Esai is going to speak Espanol first, instead of English. No biggie...as long as he speaks English fluently by school age. Angela...apparently someone is not getting her phone calls answered/returned today. It seems she needs to "play" again on the board. {{sigh}} oh well. You think she would get the **hint**.

Work was good... two more shifts and I am off for three days. I got spoiled with the 6 day break I just had. I was told that wouldn't happen often LOL. .It was a quiet nite with no major crisis..a good nite for the babies. I spent almost my whole shift decorating isolettes for the babies with names, stickers, stamping patterns and pictures. Besides providing a little visual stimulation for the babies, it's good for the parents. Not exactly how I pictured using my EMT, but hey...what can I say? I love those babies...One little guy is up to a whole (wow) 25 ccs a feeding...doesn't sound like much, but when you only weight 2.5 lbs, it's a lot. It's hard not to get attached. But the end goal is getting them to a weight they can go home on.

A word about "trust".....trust is earned not given. I "gave" someone my trust, and she betrayed it. She never deserved it to begin with, come to find out. YACK..indeed, I agree.

Hi everyone. We are now back at work. It's kind of busy now but were are trying to read some of the old boards to catch up. We will soon be posting again regularly.

As for posting at work, we are like Barb. That is the only time we do. We are at are computers most of the day. We keep the internet minimized at the bottom. We use the internet for more than personal stuff during the work day, but sometimes it provides a great relief.

Anyway we'll all talk soon.

Barb - Audrey's 15 month checkup was 2 weeks ago, she weighed 25.14 and I don't remember her hieght but I think it was only like 29 or 30. She is a shorty. She isn't a baby anymore, I am ready for another one. LOL

Oops....duh?! Of COURSE 15 month old Issy, would weigh more than our 13 month old...now I have completly lost track of what I was thinking. Sheesh.
angela
Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 11:37:17 (EDT)

Barb~Actually, you worded that much better than I did! As long as we manage our own time, and aren't living on the dole, it is really no business of anybody else when, where, or how often we post.

Do you know Issy weighs more than our 13 month old? LOL! Daytie is such a dainty little thing, and is still in her infant carseat. She weighed 19.9 at her 12 month check, and was 29 inches tall. She is perfect in everyway, and she is a TOUGH little cookie too....her primary playmates are all boys, and our three year old son gives her no breaks in the rough housing area either. Mason though, weighed over 30 pounds at his 15 month check, and he looked like a Michelin Man(lots of *yum-yums* on his legs) and now he is a string bean!! Dayton and Mason are SUCH OPPOSITES, it is hard to believe they are even siblings. Daytie takes after my grandmother, who was never heavier than 125 pounds in her whole life, but she was tough! Mason takes after my grandfather...and I think he will be a big man. When my grandfather married my grandmother, he was able to encircle her whole waistline with his hands....she was so tiny!! Back in that time though, it was very fashionable to have a *tiny* waist, but many women wore corsets or girdles, etc...grandmother was just THAT little, and I think Dainty Daytie will take after her, and I think that is awesome!

Where was I going with this? I forget....I hope nobody reprimands me for posting when I am *on the clock* so to speak. It really IS their business and all.....LMAO!

Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 11:35:47 (EDT)

Hello, everyone. Isabelle had her 15-month check-up today. She weighs 28 pounds, 10 ounces and is 33 inches long. She had three shots today, and she was so mad and cried so hard she wasn't breathing for like almost a minute and I panicked. The doc said that some babies do that as a way of showing their anger; some even pass out for a minute but wake right back up! I hope she NEVER does that again! As soon as we picked her up, she stopped crying, her face went back to normal color, it was like nothing even happened. He said she's healthy and advanced for her age because she can say so many words (I know all moms say that, but she's perfect!).

Melissa, great job! Congrats... you really must be working hard! Keep it up!

Angela, your trip sounds fun. I've never been there, but doesn't that mall have a roller coaster inside of it?!

Lyne, sorry your daughter is having trouble. I don't know anything about that stuff; best of luck!

Margarita, enjoy your time off! Do something fun to reward yourself for working so hard!

Cherokee, sure, e-mail me any time.

J-mo, how are the celebrations? Are you enjoying it?

About posting while working: that's the only time I post, and I don't feel guilty about it for one second. I work hard, and some days I have no time to post, some days I have tons of time. Everybody needs to take a break, no matter what their job. As long as posting doesn't get in the way of making my deadlines, I'm not worried. I think everyone here is able to manage their own time (whether it's at work or at home) without others butting in about it.

Have a good day!

Ellyn~I think I'll try that, and instead of *ash cakes*, I'll just make biscuits. I think that should be *authentic* enough for Maranda.=) She really is looking forward to S'mores too, but Jake told her that Laura Ingalls did not even know what a s'more WAS, so if we are going to camp the *real way* then we would not be having s'mores. Maranda told him we can camp the *real* way, and still be creative. She's a little smartipants.=)

Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 11:04:36 (EDT)

Jules~Like I said, I answered the questions you posed, and did not cutdown or insult you at all. You insulted everybody here, with an inferrence to SAHM's, that you had to go to your *real* job. Nope, there is nothing wrong with working on an assembly line, actually there is nothing wrong with ANY work that is honest and legal. So, with that said, it is not your place to insult the work everybody else here does by referring to your job as a *real* one. What does everybody else do all day...fantasize? Also, lots of women here post several times throughout the day, or evening, and they work outside of the home. I work a Flex schedule, so as long as I put in 40 hours a week, I'm good. Those hours can be during the day, or the evening, or a mixture...you know nothing about my job. Also, Marc has the right to post when he wants to, about what he wants to. As far as I know, he only posted one time, and that was directly to LH. What does that have to do with you?

I've proven my case to those that count, and who have demonstrated their trustworthiness to ME, sorry you are not one of them. And that "vomit" thing...ewww....don't choke on that. LMAO

No I was not saying SAHM mothers were not "real" workers. I wish I had the benefit of being one. I guess what I was really saying is that I don't believe you or Cherokee work outside the home. You are on here way tooooo often to be doing any good to anyone. JMO. I just don't think the that you are as educated and work as hard as you do then cut other women down for what they do. What if I did work on an assembly line? Does that mean you are better than me? You proved my point about why I don't post often. I asked a legitimate question and gave my opinion and you turn around and insult me. Next your co-worker will get on and praise you and tell us we don't know the real you. I think we do. I think this is the only place the real you comes out.

Anyway, I guess next time I post I will just do so using another name and not address you or Cherokee. I think you are both full of it.

Yes, I would allow the use of leaches or maggots to be used. I have worked with people who had leach therapy (I am an RN) and it worked to improve their prognosis. However, the option of using a sedative while having this type of therapy is something I would look in to.

Humpday ladies :) Its still cloudy here, ugh. We need some sun, and we need it now!! This cloudy and rainy all the time is depressing. We have enough of that in the Winter time, this sucks. Im ready for some good 90's and sun!! I have a medical question for you gals. Okay, DD hemoglobin is still 9.6, got the call 2 days ago. Her RBC are still very pale and small. She has Volleyball camp 2x a week right now, starts 4 days next week. Last week, while running she got sick and threw up and came home. She does have exercise induced asthma, so she has an inhaler for it. Heres my question. She says her inhaler isnt working anymore. Now since RBC carry the oxygen through the body, and hers are small and pale, the inhaler wouldnt make a difference would it? Should she be involved with Volleyball at this point with her health? Im not sure what to do. She loves it, its her favorite sport, but is scared she going to pass out or get sick. Shes not really athletic, and I thought at first maybe it was too * rough * for her, shes not used to being worked hard for conditioning, but now they are. That might be a small portion of it. Anyone have any suggestions? She sees her Oncology doctor next week and has her sports physical next week as well. Im not sure if I should send her, have a note having her not do any running ( not really fair to the other kids )... Im not sure what to do. Any advice?

Jules~I did not attack you at all, but just answered your questions. Have fun at your *real* job today...Is MY job not a *real* one because I had to get a Master's Degree first? You really have stated nothing concrete to back up your assertion that what we know is *b/s*, so I'll stick with the pile of FACTS we have, and have shared with you. You better run, before the assembly line falls behind quota.

Anyway, the bad news is I am still feeling yuck so I am supposed to go back to Doctor's Care today to be re-evaluated and have my thyroid checked. I am not sure when I will do that but I need to go at some point today.

I rarely post because the "regulars" flip out and try and run those off they don't agree with.

Good morning all!

"..."~You must not be o.k. with what you see in the mirror. Apparently you are too *embarrassed* to be associated with any of the mommies on the BT board either. Sad.

Margarita~Enjoy your break!! I might try your veggie kabob idea when we go camping, since we have the skewers and the kids all like veggies a LOT. We DO have a camp stove, so I could really cook just about anything, but Maranda says we have *to do it the REAL way, like Laura Ingalls when they left the little house in the Big Woods of Wisconsin, and went to Minnesota*.=) I told her I would have to learn how to make fried salt pork and ash cakes then, just like Caroline Ingalls did. =)

Marie~I'm glad you are feeling better. I know going to court will be sucky for your neighbor, but she'll have to get through it. If it is her first offense, she will probably get a fine, license suspension, and maybe have to take a screening. It will probably cost quite a few $$, but it could have been so much worse. =( Thankfully you are both o.k. Is that YOUR Ryan in the Baby's Today Photo Contest archives? What a cutie! Lot's of yum-yum's(baby fat rolls) too....so cute!!

Better run...TC all!

The reason I ask is that although this board can become silly, I am never ashamed to be a part of it, because I contribute ONLY what I contribute. Gee Missy~THAT was sure articulate and intelligent...as far as ranting goes. Very trashy. LMAO.

BTW~Like many other working mother's here, we spend a lot of time at the computer or laptop. You should try it...a job I mean. Then you would not have your whole family crammed into your little rinky-dink dump you call home.

Don't you fuckheads have anything else better to do that to bring up old news? Ohhhhhh I smell the stench of ol Angela and *Cherokee* stirring up trouble. So Wendy was getting to much attention eh? Too nice for your liking? WOW you really came up with a nice lie there *Cherokee* considering that you have absolutely NO PROOF what so ever that she did what you say she did. Whose to say that you didn't do this yourself? I mean so are so quick to say, People know that I am honest. WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK!!!! You are just as horrible person for trying to claim this board as your own. Oh and by the way, Wendy was spokesmom on Babies Board before. I was there with her and I told the board after she went to Toddlers. Nothing happened then, not until she met you. TOO BAD. She is a wonderful person. You are a very computer obcessed person and an idiot.
Angela wow you are something else. So if you work where you say you do how do you have ANY time at ALL to post? You must be one of those SAHMs with nothing to do but cause trouble. You all are just DISGUSTING. You make me VOMIT!!!!
Get a life. Go outdoors Get some fresh air. Play with your kids, Shit get a fuckin hobby.

LET THIS GO!!!! Wendy is too good to post indefense of herself. Haven't you thought that she really doesn't GIVE a SHIT that you all are talking about her? Fuck get off your sticks that are shoved TOO FAR up your ASSES!!! Can't you all see that *Cherokee* has been lying??? Hmmmm Just look at her archives she has been caught too many times to count

Hi ladies.
Only 2 more days of classes :o) can you tell I am excited?
Many of the projects are done now so things are not too stressful at this point. My nephew spent the afternoon over here playing on the tramp with dd and in her wading pool. He is having dinner and then we are going to pick some blueberries.

Angela - do you guys have a camp stove? If you have a camp stove you can cook whatever you are willing to ;o). Some of the things we like to cook while camping are veggie kabobs and bbq chicken. Pancakes, french toast, etc. Veggie kabobs can be cooked over a fire too, with alot of watching to make sure they don't burn. One of the breakfast things we do when we don't have a camp stove is to grate or chop potatoes, add sweet peppers, add in a little pre-cooked ham, and then add in some mixed eggs, fold it up in a packet and let it cook and you have denver scrambled eggs. Viola!

Oh! Gotta go - will try to get back late.r
