These 2-way radios are lightweight and so easy to use. The radios have 14 channels and a 2-mile radius. My son's voice came through with little, if any, interference. The radios are easy to take along by either hooking them on your belt with the convenient belt clip, or holding the attached wrist strap. I really like that these radios come as a pair, and did not have to be purchased separately. My son's favorite feature was the colorful fronts (red and blue) that we attached to each radio. We will be taking these radios along on all our outings so we can stay in touch with each other -- or just have some fun!
